Pune/Bahrain: Gamezop, a leading casual gaming platform that powers gamification across thousands of apps globally, has announced its strategic expansion into the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region with a new wholly-owned subsidiary in Bahrain.
As part of this international foray, the Indian startup is investing $4 million to scale operations, recruit local talent, and explore acquisition opportunities.

Founded in 2016 by Yashash Agarwal and Gaurav Agarwal, Gamezop is backed by BITKRAFT Ventures and enables over 9,000 apps across 70 countries to integrate plug-and-play casual games – boosting both user engagement and monetization.
The company’s entry into Bahrain marks a pivotal step in its ambition to build the world’s largest digital content distribution network.
Gamezop Opens Regional HQ in Bahrain
With its regional HQ now operational, Gamezop aims to onboard 1,000 new apps in MENA over the next 18 months, targeting an additional $5–6 million in revenue.
The decision to base its Middle East operations in Bahrain was driven by the Kingdom’s strategic location, progressive regulatory ecosystem, and active support from the Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB).
“We chose Bahrain for its business-friendly environment and strong digital infrastructure,” said Gaurav Agarwal, Co-founder of Gamezop. “The Bahrain EDB has been instrumental in supporting our entry, and we’re excited to build a digital bridge between India and the Middle East.”
The MENA region – home to a digitally native youth population and among the fastest-growing gaming markets globally (CAGR of 12–15%) – offers fertile ground for Gamezop’s embeddable gaming experiences. With consumer-facing apps increasingly embedding games to drive retention and revenue, Gamezop is well-positioned to meet this demand with its scalable, low-code solution.

Gamezop’s offerings also include Quizzop (quizzes), Astrozop (astrology), and Criczop (cricket) – enabling partners to embed a wide range of engaging content in under 30 minutes. Notable global clients include Microsoft MSN, Samsung Internet, Tata Play, AccuWeather, RTL, and Opera.
